We would love to see your photos of your Aotearoa. This could be photos of the city or town you live in, the farm, the beach, sunset or sunrise, your favourite tree or flowers, nature, or even the way things looks after a big storm, flood or earthquake.
If you are selected as a one of the Thirty (30) Finalists, the Winner or Youth Award Winner, please let us know how you would like your name to appear on your Certificate.
If your photograph doesn't sell either in the FOTOFEST exhibition or on Trademe, this is the address we will return your photograph too.
If you are selected as one of our thirty (30) finalists, Frist, Second, or Third Place or Youth Award Winner you will need to send your photograph to IHC National Office before Monday 21 August 2023.
As a finalist, First Place or Youth Award winner and your photograph sells, the sale proceeds will be paid directly in to the photographers bank account (this cannot be paid in to alternative bank accounts).
You will also need to provide your bank account details (copy of your bank deposit slip OR a copy of your online bank statement (without the transactions) clearly showing the bank logo, bank account and bank account number and attach this to your photograph along with a copy of your confirmation of entry email. If your photo is selected as a finalist, this is the lowest sum you would be happy to accept for the sale of your framed photograph should your photograph sell. Your photograph will be available for sale at the FOTO FEST exhibition in Hastings from 15 to 25 September 2023. If it doesn't sell at FOTO FEST, we will sell your photograph on Trademe.
Please upload one clear images of your photograph. Save your photograph as a JPEG, GIF or PNG format only. Only use letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens in your photograph file names. There is a 1MB size limit on all image uploads but we recommend using image files of less than 500KB for the best results. Please ensure that your image is in the correct orientation before uploading . If your image are saved upside-down, please rotate the image before uploading it.
Remember this is the image the judges will use to judge your photograph.
